Our Whare Pōtae Collection seeks to honour, protect and cherish our upoko (head) the same way we do with pounamu, our head being one of the most tapu (sacred) parts of our body.

This taonga represents the human form and one's ancestors. Traditionally passed from parent to child or used for protection and good luck: it links the past, present and future.
